Instagram data deletion
Celeb Drop uses Instagram Login to confirm that a celebrity applicant controls the professional Instagram account they claim. We retain the Instagram account ID, username, account type and verification timestamps needed to document that check. We do not retain the Instagram access token or the applicant's Instagram password.
Request deletion
You can remove Celeb Drop's Instagram access from Instagram's connected-app settings. Instagram will then send Celeb Drop a signed deauthorization request and the stored Instagram verification evidence will be removed.
You may also request deletion by emailing div@celebdrop.co.za from the email address registered with your Celeb Drop account. Include your Celeb Drop account email and Instagram username so the request can be matched safely.
Removing Instagram verification data does not automatically delete order, payment, tax, fraud-prevention or other records that Celeb Drop must retain to meet legal and contractual obligations. Requests for full account deletion are reviewed under our privacy policy.
